"My first Oktoberfest....."

"....but I did not get to drink bear. I was staring at the foamy beer which Mummy & Daddy swallowed into their tummies. I really wonder how beer tastes like!"

We went to Oktoberfest at Swiss Club today. For the benefit of my readers, Oktoberfest is a sixteen-day festival held each year in Munich, Germany, running from late September to early October. It is one of the most famous events in Germany and the world's largest fair, with some six million people attending every year, and is an important part of Bavarian culture. Other cities across the world also hold Oktoberfest celebrations, modeled after the Munich event.

What Joshie has been up to

His recent favourite activity........walk walk walk. And he loves to drag along a pail or his laundry basket.

See what he put inside the pail.........a packet of wholemeal crackers given by the cashier at FairPrice.

Walk, walk, walk.......that's his favourite activity at the moment. Previously he was more interested in crawling but of late, he has been walking a lot.....just like a drunkard with his body swaying sideways and arms stretched out to balance himself.

He can also point to his nose and ears when prompted. And i think he loves waterfalls and water fountains. Whenever we walk past the waterfall and fountain at the lobby of our apartment or at the shopping malls, he would point towards it.

We have been bringing him to the playground since he can now walk. His current favourite is the slide. And no, he does not like to slide down. He likes to climb up instead.

Added more "words" to his vocabulary. But we still do not know what he is saying, it's all baby language =).

Two mornings ago, I walked into the living room to be greeted by Joshie's naked bum-bum. Guess he was feeling hot and decided to remove his diaper. Luckily there was no poo, else the sofa would also be dirty.

Disturbing Daddy

The hubs looks forward to seeing his cheeky son after a hard and sometimes frustrating day at work. But does Joshie leave daddy in peace? Of course not! Even when hubby is having dinner, he will be up to some sort of mischief. In this picture, he was having a fun time pulling his Daddy's hair.

Mummy's little helper??

I usually leave the kitchen door closed when I am in the kitchen but whenever I am steaming food, I'd open it else both Joshie and I would be sweating like crazy. Last week, this was what the little cheeky did when I opened the door. He is usually interested in the washing machine and pails only, BUT last week, ...............the 2 mops caught his attention.

After much effort, he got hold of one mop! -shakes head-

And the next day, this is what happened..............

Will he be mummy's little helper in future?

Good to train from young, huh?
