Last Saturday, hubby and I went to Ikea to get a round table and 2 chairs for Joshie. The very next day, there were black stains at the edge of the table. Don't know if you can see the stain, but it's on the right hand edge. (If you were to imagine it as a clock face, it's approximately where the figures 2 to 4 are supposed to be). Whose fault was it? Yours truly =( I gave Joshie some crayons and a few pieces of white paper to scribble on. As I wanted to protect the table top, I put a piece of newspaper underneath the white papers. Silly me did not think that the lead from the newspaper would be transferred to the table. I used some detergent and a brush but still, the black marks are there. So how? Please tell me how to get rid of the marks............tqvm in advance.
Second problem. Cheeky took a pen and scribbled on our white dining chair! Yeah, yeah I know it was a HUGE mistake to buy white furniture especially when you have a child at home. Used some dishwashing detergent but still, the ink marks did not go off. So what should I do now?? W
Have you tried nail polish remover?
ReplyDeleteI try to remove those stains with the magic sponge, which you can either get from Cosway or those DIY shop. Quite useful though..
