Self Check @ Tanglin Marketplace

Last week was the first time I used the Self-Check machine. Actually, I have noticed this machine for several months already but always headed to the cashier counters as I couldn't be bothered. Haha........might as well let the cashier scan the products and proceed to payment while I entertain my cheeky son.

However, last Monday, all the counters were fully occupied. There were like 2-3 people lining up at each counter, BUT they all had a trolley full of stuff. And I only wanted to buy milk and cream cheese. So, I tried lar.......... It was quite easy, just scan the milk and cream cheese and ta-da, the total price appeared on the screen. Swiped my card and I was done! Easy =)

I tried taking away the plastic cup but he protested. As I didn't want to cause a scene in public, I just let him lar, after all it's not a serious thing.

We just had our lunch at Coffee Bean and were heading home when we passed by the frozen yogurt store. It's quite new and the lady was giving out some samples. Cheeky kept stretching his hand to reach for the plastic cup and so, I gave it to him. As expected, he dirtied himself and I had to wash his sticky hands, face and neck when we got home!

On another note, I am looking for someone to install window grills in Joshie's bedroom in our KL home. Anyone can recommend?

Long blog break

Tomorrow, we will be driving back to Kuala Lumpur. I won't have internet connection so I will be taking a long, long break off blogging till we come back to Singapore on 6th January 2010.
